And now I have one less. 101 paces.  Shooting singles with a 223 works just fine. If it were a sounder I'd likely of had a few more limping off. This guy took a 55gr TSX through both shoulders. When he got his wits about him he attempted to run off but couldn't get his chin off the ground. Follow up finished it.  Good fun if you're not the pig.

What do you have growing in that patch? Looks great! Thanks y'all. The plot is two bags of bob oats and two bags of "wildlife mix". It was broadcast back in early October before a nice rain. The oats popped but there after we got little or no meaningful rain. Finally it's getting shaggy and the clover and other stuff is coming on. And I fertilized a little prior to this last rain.

It's a little farther than I thought. If I paced off 101, then I guess it's 130-135 to the feeder. I always assumed it was 110.  I guess I should figure it out, however everything I've shot has been in the plot and not the pen.
