Anyone using a target bow to hunt?

Thinking about getting back into archery but I don't hunt anything but birds much anymore. So I was thinking I'd go shoot 3d way more often than actually hunting with a new bow.

I know it will work. Just curious if anyone on here does it.

I did.. Used a Chillx for both. Loved the longer ATA style bow for hunting.. same for 3d. Guy I know used a Victory 39 to hunt.

When you think about it todays target bows are no longer than the compounds we hunted with in the 80s

Only issue for me is that it is a relatively slow bow for today's standards. Not a big deal at 30" draw but mine is about 25".
