Here at Double JJ we strive to provide some of the finest waterfowl hunting on the Upper Texas Coast! With many years of experience, we do it all from dove, duck, goose and even crane hunts. When we are on the prairie, we are hunting over agriculture fields such as rice, soybeans, and millet. The river bottom that we hunt consists of flooded oxbows, sloughs, and flooded timber supplying acorns, pecans, duckweed, and widgeon grass for the birds. We do scout before every hunt to insure that each hunt is met to your standards, we supply the guide, dogs, decoys, and all-terrain vehicles to and from the blind. Going on one of our hunts we are going to try our best to make it the best experience as possible for our guest. For a private party duck hunt we require 4 or more.

Our goose hunts require a lot of scouting and time in the field what a lot of people don’t have, to sit and study these birds to see what their habits are and what exactly they are doing that day to pick up their pattern. During the first of our season we will be just running speck hunts till the first freeze comes down (usually around Thanksgiving) then we will start hunting the snow geese hard trying to get on the birds asap before they start heading back north or breaking up in family groups. If you are wanting to book a goose hunt be specific on what exactly you are looking for so that we can accommodate you and your group, the best way that we can! Our goose hunts are all over agriculture fields such as rice, flooded rice, soybeans, winter wheat, and plowed fields. We will provide everything as in guide, decoys, layouts or parkas, dog, and all-terrain vehicle to get you to and from the field. For a private party goose hunt we require 4 or more.
