Btw its done, tenant moved in last weekend. It's not perfect by any means, we've still got some small things to work on and shelves to add by the kitchen sink. sheetrock guys left the kitchen sink light wire hanging out when they finished the wall, if anyone has ideas on fixing or hiding that I would appreciate it bc it absolutely drives me nuts.

Some kind of wall sconce metal sleeve may look better then the loose wire, or change the entire fixture to one that mounts on the wall covering the wire. Over all looks great and looks like a lot of work too!!

You need to change the opening on your refrigerator door.

build a small wooden 'box' to mount between ceiling and that existing fixture (about 4 to 6 in hi x width of fixture +** = 4" x depth of fixture + 2");
paint it to match cabinets;
make small hole in wall about 2" from ceiling, directly above current hole (where wire is coming out);
**(width of 'box' may need to be expanded to 'reach' wire-hole, and still be centered w/window, etc)
'fish' wire back into wall and thru the new hole higher up; mount 'box' so it covers new hole, and hides the route to the fixture;
patch 'old' hole ; done.

place looks good!

The way the market is now though we're seriously considering letting it go after she moves out. Just gotta reshoot property lines and get GUTIT to make me my own driveway first...

are you talking about the wire going from out of the wall up to the light above the sink? appears it wasn't long enough to route on up the wall and over to the light. Guessing sheet rock guy wasn't comfortable changing electrical connection (union?). I would reroute/extend personally and then patch sheet rock.

Probably not a bad idea. I have heard rumblings of widening that road.
