I saw this on another forum. The guy on there was there when this happened, like right next to him. This is the place to end it all I guess??? Anyone??? in the Austin/Pflugerville area

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) - Pflugerville police said an Austin man shot himself to death outside Red's Indoor Gun Range in North Pflugerville Tuesday evening, though officials are still determining if it was accidental.

Police said they received a call at 4:38 p.m. of a possible gunshot wound at the range at 1908 W. Pecan Street .

According to witnesses, the man was found dead after he walked out of the indoor range in his car.

The medical examiner will use the gunshot's trajectory to conclude if the man's death was accidental.

I'll bet this is an accident. The several others I've read about have all happened in the shooting lane usually with a rental.

I worked at that gun shop/range part-time when it was called Cook's Sure Shot. We rented guns and had to be ever vigilant. We had several attempts by customers to commit suicide. Luckily, none were successful.

Yes this happened last year here in Pflugerville.
I think they ruled it a suicide.
Not sure though.
