Does anyone know where i can find a good dog trainer in grayson county that is not 500 a month

Don't know of any in the area, but I also don't know of hardly any that are cheaper than $500. I think $450 is a bout the cheapest I've seen anywhere.

If you are willing to ship your dog via dog runners or air. You can find 300 a month trainers up north.

Yep, Yourself. I have trained all my dogs and did fine. You can do it yourself and have the bond that only you and your dog can have. Read up, watch videos and get out there and do it.

This is true, if you have the time you will train your dog to do things the way you like them done. Others may teach things a bit differently.

The market rate in the Houston area is $600/mo or more. Good luck!

find angie and tim becker @ tioga retrievers.....not grayson county, but worth the cash...they have a basic program set at 550 a month. To mee though its worth knowing its done right.....just my .02

might check out www.brushycreekretrievers.com $400 a month and he does it right. He is in Rockwall county though

Everyone here knows that I too recommend James Collier, but he aint less than $500/month, so thats why I haven't chimed in till now. Straight forward honest guy that flat knows bird dogs, whether it's pointing, retrieving, coon dogs etc., he is the man! He's also talking about getting back into police dog training too. He has trained several dogs for me & friends plus I have hunted with him for around six years now. Check out www.collierkennels.com

I'm a huge Collier Kennels fan. Not every dog is going to be a bird dog (James will tell you that), but your dog will be well trained, well treated/safe, and James will be extremely honest with you. He will tailor his training to best fit with your dog's personality. GREAT TRAINER! I will be boarding mine there in the future for refreshers of obedience and hunting..... James made him so much sharper!
