This was my 6th or 7th time to call in hogs and the 2nd time to call in a sounder at this location. While this was a daylight hunt, it was overcast and dark, misting, and winds gusting quite a bit - the winds actually working in our favor. We set up on the edge of a dam overlooking a tank. We were sitting in fairly high grass, but were still quite exposed to view.

We were using "Sow Hysteria," which is one of Glenn Guess' calls that can be downloaded off of iTunes. It seems to be a fairly useful call and one I have used several times in the past with some luck and is often used by Glenn in his videos. Before the video starts, we had already gotten a response from the sounder and after the video starts, got an even better response that was really cool!

We ended up shooting two hogs. The second hog was inaccessible and so was not recovered.

I've only been successful calling in hogs once. I had been calling coyotes from a ridge down into a canyon and wasn't having success so I tried hogs feeding and nothing then I hit boars sparring and a coyote ran out I shot the coyote then here comes 4 boars up the side of a steep cliff and I shot one of them. Was completely unexpected but a lot of fun.

It won't be an app, but just an audio file. I sent him a text about where to find it. I am not certain as I don't do iTunes and he loaded it up for me. When I get a reply, I will post it.

We have a Cass Creek nomad hog call and have used it to call in a big boar. The electronic calls sounds very good and is small.
I think it was discontinued but some are available.

I've only tried "lil piggy" on whatever call I have.
But never what I'd consider a ligitimate calling attempt.
More like "I'm ready to give up but I'll try this for a few min"
attempt.

It comes up as an App Store App with the sounds bundled to work with a specific caller (Convergent Bullet HP), not just downloadable sounds. Does he sell just the sounds, so I can load them in my Alpha Dogg?

Sorry that was what I was told. I don't do iTunes or anything Apple-related.

He did the calls for Fox Pro. The comparable call to what I used in the video is "Sow Protection."

Search for Wild Hog Pro in Apple App Store or Android Playstore. It cost $3.99 and $1.99 for additional calls. If you have a bluetooth speaker, you can play the hog calls through that.

I bought it a few days ago, just need to make some time and head to the woods!
