Those two dogs usually rough and tumble in the back seat all the way to or from somewhere. They were still and quiet all the way bome. This k they got the fear. Mine was normal when we got home, but the half hour drive back he was definitely less active. Nice meeting y'all and thanks again, Wal.
I just turned it on . I was looking bird dogs in the butt this morning.

Our girls were dead quiet on the ride home as well but were back to normal playing as soon as we got them home. This was the 3rd year for 3 of our dogs and after listening to Wayne talk I think we will start going every other year. As soon as I can figure out how to give a video off my phone I will post one of the golden retriever we brought that has never had an e-collar on. I think she got a very valuable introduction to snakes.

Thanks everyone. I took a few pictures but haven't looked at them yet. Hopefully I have 1 or 2 that are entertaining.

This last weekend probably put the nail in the coffin so far as me living down here. The weather was un-real!!! Yesterday I had to dig a 20 foot trench to lay a new propane gas line from the tank to the house (The flood took my propane tank down river and broke the original line). I thought I was going to suffer a heat stroke. The humidity just won't even allow you to breath.

Ok, I got the video loaded up. Here is my brother-in-law's golden retriever. She is 8 months old. I think Wayne laid a great foundation for Ellie.

Brought my Tess to the lease with me this weekend. Nice and rainy here. Throwing bumpers and working on basics. I threw one over the corner of the cabin. Released her and she ran around the corner. She didn't come right back so I eased up to see what the deal was. She was not wanting to get the bumper. She would move forward and stop. She circled a little down wind of where she was, back up and came towards me. I sat her and walked up. Sure enough where she was there was a snake shed about 4' long in the taller grass ahead of her. She wasn't going near it bumper or not. I threw it past it and she made a loop out and got it. I guess either the sight or scent of it brought back a shocking memory.
