There is no way in heck I would attach a pig pipe to or within reach of my feeder. They WILL wrap it around the legs and your feeder will come down. Not a matter of IF but rather WHEN.
Also I would swap the snap links you are using for QUIK LINKS. the pigs will break yours. Ive had them bust a swivel rated at 500lbs.
Don't under estimate the strength and tenacity of a hungry hog. They are tough as hell and relentless when it comes to food.

But you have valid point Those swivels won't be enough, even the deer can trash the feeder hooked up that way.

Fill the bottles up and in the early morning hours spread them around the blind. Pour out a little when you drop the bottle. Crawl in the bind and wait, soon you will hear the noise of deer kicking them around to get the corn out.

We used 2 liter soft drink bottles for bow hunting deer. Back in the days. Put the bottle out in the correct spot for a good shot. Also help cover the sound of a draw while the deer are kicking the bottle around

I left an old pig pipe inside my trap just as an extra added attraction. The trap is wired open during the times I'm in town. In the pic below it looks like they had a "kick-the-pipe-into-the-tub" game going on. Dunno which one scored...

They busted one of the two swivels off my pig pipe! I have looked two times and can't find my pipe, chain and the other swivel. BUT I WILL!

We have one staked down about 50 yards away from camp trailer. Sometimes the hogs wake us up banging the pipe. Can hear the corn sloshing around too. Add a few small rocks and noise even more. We hand hog light over it and get up and let em have it. Its a hoot.........
