Axis hunt suggestions - 08/25/17 03:40 PM

I'm looking for axis buck hunt suggestions for the end of this year, preferably at 3k or less I'm a college student and have been saving for this hunt for a long time! If anyone has any suggestions that offers winter into early spring axis hunts let me know. I know they're not all hard horned but I'd love to shoot a velvet aswell

Can I ask was that trophy axis or a record book trophy axis? Also what time of the year did you take that beast down

He's definitely a trophy all day long. He's a great buck all around. Measured 35x36" beams with 16" brows and good caudles. He was shot in May on a 3 day hunt.

This is the quality you will have an opportunity at with them.
