Axis hunt with Pope Brothers

A big thanks to Clay Pope and his team for a great Axis hunt this week. They showed me some beautiful country as well as some great bucks including several very nice shooters that I wasn't able to get on in time to close the deal! I'm not the "quick draw" that I once was. The Popes have a true family operation and I'm looking forward to my return visit later this year. Baker

I second the big Thanks to the Pope Brothers. They helped me out in Junction. When my truck battery died. They drove me around town looking for a battery.. Lucky NAPA had an after hour person on call. Thanks again

It is refreshing to read an outfitter post where the hunter did not take an animal but is still very happy with the outfitter, That says a lot about the Pope brothers. I will remember this.
