Amazing Stalk Hunt-Nilgai Cow - 03/24/16 03:28 PM
Had an amazing stalk on some Nilgai Cows a few weeks ago at the Yturria Ranch, booked through Pierce Trophy Hunts (piercetrophyhunts.com)
After an 500 yard stalk I was in position for an 80 yard shot (shot with .375, 270 grain HH). She ran about 50 yards into a nearby marsh, the reason why she's so dirty in the picture. My guide Jason was great, put me in a great position.
The husband/wife combo are also a repeat customer of Pierce Trophy Hunts. Both brought down big cows as well.
These animals are so fun to hunt
