1000 for a hunt

Guys,lets just say i have 1k sitting around for an hunt. Is there anything available in that range? Maybe a cull axis and a hog? Looking for something in the hill country.

I personally dont think anyone should pay more than $100 for unlimited hogs. See Craigslist and you will see $150 a day hog hunt. Negotiate it down to $100. I personally dont eat hogs but I have been told the little ones taste good.

How about a nice size blackbuck trophy for 1250.00.18-19 inches roughly. Maybe an axis cull for 600.00? An elk cow for 800 and a young mouflon cull for your son 1000.00? I tried to pull it up just now and it's not coming up properly? Let me call Joe Sheldon and ask him what's up? Very strange! I just looked it up two days ago and it came up just fine. I will post on here tomorrow and reply to you. My buddy is going in a week or so to take his boys hunting there. Check back on this post tomorrow morning after say 10 am or so and I should k ow something by then.

Everything is fine and he said he was adding blackbuck doe to his list as huntable again he has too many.

Not to Hijack the thread, but what type of hunt is it at A place to hunt ranch? Is it a challenging hunt or more of a shoot

A Place to Hunt Ranch.com is a good hunt. No guarantee you will get your animal. They are there But whether you get a shot is a different story. I was trying to get a shot at a nice Mouflon all weekend about a year ago and could not get on one. My nephew shot one and after that they were skiddish and went into hiding. They have some nice red stag I wanted to photograph but only saw one close enough for a photo with a long lens. Saw some awesome elk and axis but would have been a long shot for me. My son in law shot a nice Blackbuck but the one he wanted to shoot showed up at a different stand every hunt. You may get lucky and get a shot right away and you may not. Not the kind of place you drive around in the front seat of a mule and shoot an animal in an hour. It's a fun place with good people. Give it a try.

Hes nice. They are getting a little more scarce at this point. Instead of everyday feed, they are about every 3.
