Just got around to downloading some more photos from the March Break Road trip my 15 year old son and I took.
We spent the first few days visiting friends and on the gulf. After that we hog hunted (pics posted earlier) and than chased some exotics.
First we put in some range time:
Son's Hawaiin taken at about 70 yards with the 7-08:
My 4-Horned taken at 32 yards with the xbow:
Blackbuck taken at 180 yards with the .308
Crossing the border back into Canada was interesting. Guard says anything to declare? Yep, 4 rifles, +/-200 rounds of ammo, 2 bows, and I have 2 hogs, 2 rams and an antelope on ice in the box of the truck. Guard says let me make a phone call. 2 minutes later he says have a nice day you're good to go - never asked to see anything and never even got out of his booth.
