If you don't mind can you tell me what your bow set up was for Bison? Draw Weight, Arrow Weight, Broad head? How was your penetration?

I will ask my hunter but I think he actually filled his arrows one shot 30 yards and down. We took another cow a few days later with a 45-70 and it took 6 pretty good shots to bring her down.

That has to be the best looking Sambar stag I've seen out of Texas! Is he at the Priour by chance because that's the only place in Texas that has a herd AFAIK.

He is a good bull if anyone is interested I don't say where I hunt. I don't hunt just one ranch I hunt a lot of ranches we aren't a put and take operation. There are a few others around that have Sambar but he is probably the best I have seen in several years.
