Exotic Picture thread?

New to the forum and really Enjoy the Exotics. Did not know if you guys had a picture thread. Would be cool to see pictures of the ones you have taken or that you might have on your ranch. Would be fun to see all the pictures.

Here are a few photos that some of you may remember and a few new ones also. No animals were harmed in the taking of these photos...... only because I didn't have the landowners permission to do so.

Great pictures. Always like looking at Exotics. My 9 year old daughter wants to shoot a Zebra bad. Someday she will have one. But they sure are not cheap.

Is that a Lechwe up there in the middle of that last set of pics with the baby, above the Blackbucks or what is that?

Here are some red Lechewe cows or does or whatever the hell they are called. I've never seen a good Red Lechewe buck to photograph or hunt but I'd love to. Baker

Here is a few photos of the biggest Axis I'll probably ever see, alive or dead!! I've not been able to arrange a hunt for him and he still haunts my dreams..... Oh well at least I got to see such a magnificent animal alive and in his element!!!! I can't write well enough to describe how beautiful he was in person. Baker

That axis has haunted my dreams and all Ive seen is pics, I be affraid what id be willing to pay if he was on a hunting ranch.

My first exotic which I shot earlier this year....

Me and a buddy both got Red Hinds this year. This was my first exotic.

Here are a few more. My wide axis is not as big as Baker's, but we got to shoot the one in my pic.

A- I ahve a boy and a girl now and B- Im done ahving kids so it wouldnt matter either way LOL.

I believe it's a waterbuck.

Yea it looks like a waterbuck bull with no horns but I didn't think the cows looked like that.

It is a female Waterbuck.

What's the deal on the Pierre David's deer? Can't imagine that rope/hose around his neck was too good for him.


Anyone got live photos of the really rare stuff like takin, tur, etc.?

That axis is amazing.

He got into a water hose and some how got it on an island and had it wrapped around a tree. Had to cut him loose, then was able to dart him and cut the hose off. Wasn't a good situation but he ended up making it.

Thank you for the nice comments. No, he is in NE Texas. I have several others that are the same size as him. One Stag is a 12x13 point this year.

Going to have one or two hunts for sale for this year.

One of the best stags I've seen on here.

Thanks, he isn't the biggest on the ranch tho.

I have loved every minute I have spent in your great state, I have been blessed to have met so many amazing people. I know these are not as amazing by "trophy" standards as so many of the awesome pics in this thread, but these memories mean the world to me.

One of my favorite series of pics taken by my guide in New Zealand on the South Island a few years ago. This yearling baby Tahr was coming up the mountain. We saw him early on and had a good head start on him but since he could go up a whole lot faster than we could (or I could...) he caught us. The guide got out his camera to take some pics but we never expected what happened next!
