3 Bearded Gobbler? - 03/24/18 01:29 PM
My son took his first gobbler this morning and it just so happened to have 3 beards. How big of deal is that? I know it’s special but not sure how special....trying decide if I should full body mount it or just a fan mount.

Very special!!, especially if they are all long. I've harvested a bunch of double bearded birds, but only 1- 3 bearded, and 1-5 bearded.
Congrats to the young man.
Sometimes its hard to determine from pics, or even binos whether a bird is multiple bearded. Seen a bunch that looked like they were, only to find it was a single beard with separation.
Congrats to your son, very cool

Congrats to your son, in my book that's very special, especially when a young hunter takes a good one like that!

Very nice bird! Congrats! Got a three beard on my lease last year but I didn't shoot it.
