Heading to Gene Howe

We head out to Canadian, TX Thursday night for my sons hunt on Gene Howe. I figure once we wrap up there we will stop off in Wellington and see what we can find. My 17 year old son is eat up with Spring Turkey, and after sitting with him last year and watching the show I must admit I am looking forward to it as well.

That is great! Do you get to pick the spot you hunt, or are you assigned a pasture. If you get to choose and you're of a mind, I will pass along spots where I always see Toms.

There will be a stand bye. Dad passed this am, so Josh and I will be burying him Saturday instead of chasing Toms.
