Are my Nac Co birds worth hunting?

I have never in my life considered turkey hunting. One year we got 2 gobblers on game cam eating corn under a feeder on our 250ac in Nacogdoches County. Still, never considered hunting turkey.
This last year, on 2 different occasions, we heard turkey gobbling while deer hunting. So, the question comes up...are 2 confirmed birds on 250ac even worth trying to hunt? I ask, as most people would say "sure!" because I already have a hunt scheduled for mid April and can't feasibly go on 2 hunts in the same month due to family/work.
Would you cancel a hunt just to spend the weekend to attempt calling in 2 birds or is it a waste of time due to the likelihood of getting skunked?

See if you can somehow reschedule your other hunt for the end of April, go out to you land and hunt opening weekend. That's how I convince the wife

Just wasn't sure if it was realistic to actually lure one of the birds in if they had only been seen/heard 2x in 2 years.

Not sure I'd hunt them. I'd try to do things on the property that would encourage more turkeys to call the place home and start multiplying on the place. When you get a number of birds then be management minded and decide how many you'd like to thin out of the flock each season.

You shoot one that may push the other one off the property and make him more vulnerable to predators if there are no other males in the area. There's a good chance that if those two are traveling together and they've kept one another company and have looked out for one another by having two pair of eyes to watch for predators.

When we start seeing birds on our place and they open the Anderson county season back up, I probably wouldn't hunt them until I at least see 4 or 5 gobblers. I'd rather go chase them on the Sabine than thin out an already small number on my place.
