out in Parker County. They watched this Gobbler from across a Wheat Field for the better part of an hour from over 100 yards away. He was with a hen. Franks friend Tim expertly called the Gobbler to their Hen Decoy. When he got within 40 yards Frank looked over and Tim gave him the nod. Frank pushed the safety off and put the Brass Bead on the Gobblers head and pulled the Rear Trigger sending a load of Lead #5 Shot down the Full Choke Barrel of our 89 year old Lefever Nitro Special 12 GA! The gobbler hit the ground, he had a 5 Inch Beard. It was an exciting hunt.
Bet it wont be the last, it is addictive fun calling them in.
