My son took his first Turkey this week at the Birdwell Clark Ranch by Henrieta this weekend on a TYHP hunt. I can't say enough on what a great organization that is and the folks who take their time taking and teaching kids how to hunt. It was a thrill for my son and an educational experience for me. Little warm in the popup, but success fixes all that. 10" Beard, great first bird. Will always take luck as well... This guy appeared out of nowhere, alone, without a sound. We greeted him with some 1700 fps Remington shot.

I thought the second pic was very Norman Rockwell'esque.

TYHP is a great program for our kids. My son and I have went on 4 different hunts with them. With only one bad experienced hunt. Great times
