Anyone interested in getting a group together to go turkey hunting? I have a lead on a HUGE place, big nice lodge, lots and lots of birds. I shot one last year and that was the first shot at a spring tom turkey in year on that place. If we can get 5 guys I will call and get a final quote. Looking at comparables, turkey hunting is higher than a cat's arse. I am sure I can broker a deal for around $500 to $700 for a two full day hunt, use of lodge ect. I can tell you this. Last year I set up 4 times by 9:30 AM. We had Toms in the decoys on every set up. They worked to a call really well. As soon as I hit the box caller they would respond and they covered us up. There is a lots to slip twix a cup and a lip so far as turkey hunting but I venture to say this is a great place to hunt them.
