Not sure but 3 years ago 12-15 was winning it every month.
I would love to know how a 4 man team hunts together in a 2 man rack and shoots triples and 6 on one stand. They got it figured out i guess. And the other tournaments in Texas never have teams with 30-60 dog turn-ins

I asked 2 helicopter pilots that runs pork choppers and cedar ridge aviation and asked bout their BEST days flying ranches and 60 something was both of their bests in one day of dogs. Thats flying thousands of acres not supposed sitting and calling

There was a team that posted video few years ago shooting from moving vehicles and took it down after they brought in like 40.

I know quite a few that have questioned this with the tournament people but never gotten replies
Until rules are actually changed to say no Shooting from a moving vehicle and all animals have to advance on to the call we will never know.

They said they only had one dry stand. I noticed they run guided hunts too. I guess you don't stick around longer then 10 minutes and have all oil field roads. On a much smaller scale I have made 3 stands in a row and had 3 dogs down in less than 8 minutes. Sometimes they are on fire.

Nate and Casey have access to the best coyote land in the nation. There have never been more coyotes than there are now in West Texas and they have EXCLUSIVE access to almost all of it.

The most important factor to their success is that they are excellent marksman. If they call a dog in it dies and that is important. Every dog that comes to the call has never heard it before. They don't educate any animals.

Hmmm...best in the nation? I guess when you can kill 63 in less than 24hrs then it is the best.
