Thermal Shotgun Coyote Ft Hood 12/30/17

Little back story the shotgun was my grandpa's that he purchased new in the early 70s its a Remington 870 Wingmaster. I added a rifled barrel and thermal and this set up has proved very deadly. Be sure to watch till the end for the slow motion splatter.

Keep on whacking 'em, Sapper! The varmints and vermin of Ft. Hood have to be calling you "the bad news bear!"

That's just good stuff right there! If you wouldn't have shown the yote at the end I would have swore his head was blown off! Lol

Wow...he was tough till that last shot....

First shot would have eventually killed him but it hit the right side of his chest and came out behind his right shoulder. Lots of damage but I don't think it hit vitals even though it left a big ole hole.

I was just impressed he took a slug and was trying to get up. It’s always impressive when they defy the odds. He wasn’t gonna sell the farm.. lol

I’m guessing a one oz slug..
So 16 ounces to a pound.

35 pounds of coyote x 16 oz = 560....so that slug was 1/560th of his body weight or coyote weighed 560oz

Figure a 200 lb man x 16oz =1/3200th. So an average man weighs 3200 oz

560 decided into 3200 = 5,7 ounces

So it’s simulator to a man getting hit by a 5.7 ounce projectile....to put it in prospective a 50cal is around 3.5 ounces.

So maybe like a 60cal projectile hitting a man and he gets up...amazing! That coyote was a stud
