Has anyone used a squirrel squeaker while shaking a branch technique? Does it work for locating purposes?

I have called in squirrels with that technique before. Its not something that works all the time, but it does work.

I do. It does make them reveal their position, but only once. They get wise to it pretty quick.

Just go bow hunting for deer and the squirrels will show up

Yes to this. Had one come over to the tree I was in then came down to about 3 feet from me. Oh yea he started chattering. If I had a gun with me I would have started squirrel hunting. I took the arrow off the bow and was going to "stob" him so he decided to leave.
