Well, snuck out for the first time this fall this am. Got out about a half hr + late as had to harvest two armadillos,(yard pigs), first. Didn't make it to first stand till almost 07:00. Saw one after calling,(mouth calls), at about 500 yrds, think it winded me and wouldn't commit. Just had my AR, so didn't want to chance it. If I had been carrying my old 22-250, would maybe have taken a poke. Was just good to get out with cooler weather and see some movement.
