Coyotes are bad

Coyotes are bad - 05/01/16 10:02 PM

I have had a yearling Ibex and Mouflon Lamb killed in the last month. A neighbor has had a spike Axis and yesterday a full grown Axis doe killed by coyotes in the last week. I saw the doe. She probably weighed 125 lbs. at least. All those that don't shoot them on sight better start.

Neighbor got one about six weeks ago. I rode the fence and there are more snares than I can count. Still, our hired man jumped one fifty yards from our flock when he went to round up the other day. Grrrrr!😡

Coyotes get wise to fence snares too, or at least of the locations. Fence snares are great but need some footholds set also. Coyotes need to be hammered constantly. Another big problem is that if your neighbors aren't doing any predator control, you can only do so much good. Every cat and coyote you can kill is saving lives though.

Call in the Chopper. We killed 38 pigs and 9 coyotes in less than 2hrs. The coyotes were the most fun! They can move.

They are really bad at Lake Fork. Pets are not safe at night.
