First Hog Hunt Compilation Video - 01/24/16 06:53 PM

This is my first attempt at WMM.
I missed more vids not turning on the Vid output on the IR Hunter than I captured.
But I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Being an old dog, I'm not fond of new tricks
but once I become detrmined to do something, failre is not an option. This is pretty crude but they'll get better.

Nice work! Is that your lease? I am looking to find a place for my son and I to shoot some hog that isnt too expensive or free haha!

It's my hunting buds 100 acre place in Eastern WILCO.
I don't pay anything but during hay season I help him cut, rake, and bale this place and some of his contract pastures. I do most of the food plot work also. We hunted all over TX together for ten years before he bought this place, all large ranches.
But there's a lot to be said for a place 40 minutes from the house even if it isn't 10K acres.

I had to laugh when the battery started running out in the one segment. I have been there. The batteries tend to run very strongly for the majority of their lives and then things drop off quickly and the further down you go the more the power drops off. You handled it well.

Nice going, and nice video.

I like videos that:
Don't spend five minutes just watching the same hog feeding.
Don't have loud, obnoxious music.
Have at least a little narration.

I can tolerate a little soft music, some explanation of the circumstances, and an introduction that sets the scene.

Basically, I don't enjoy spending five minutes watching essentially nothing while listening to music I don't like. You did a good job on yours.

LOL... Everyone likes something different in videos or there would have only been one movie ever made.

Have you noticed the MKII does better video when the scope is in 2X?
