New Broadhead takes down 70 lbs hog... Not big but fun! - 09/25/15 06:03 PM

Just bought these and I was very skeptical due to the low price of 15.00 for three. Super sharp and fly true! Passed right through the hog I killed tonight to test them out. Made a NICE entrance and very nice exit wound. Huge blood trail and was easy to follow. 1.5 inch three blade cut. Great broad heads for 15.00 for three. Excited to try them next Saturday on a deer.

I got there too late, 6:30pm, and the feeder was already loaded with hogs. Once they are there they stay until they get spooked. I had to spook them so from out of sight I fired a shot from my pistol and they cleared. I was 70 yards away, and by the time I got close and was getting set up for a bow shot in some brush, I got busted. I decided to stick it out and just hold still in the brush. For a good hour I could see the hogs peaking at me through the brush. finally this sow said screw it and walked out to the feeder. Apparently she was not the brightest one in the bunch, which is surprising seeing she was older. Gave me a good opportunity to try the new broadhead. She jumped a little when i shot so it was a little far back than I wanted but still only ran 25 yards. NICE blood trail to follow too!

Very nice.

And thanks for the pics of the damage. I always like to see what damage is being done by projectiles. Interesting stuff!

Anytime. It is always good to see inexpensive products do a good job. And on a side note the broadhead is still sharp and in good shape and will be used again!

I like the ones that cut on impact, rather than a round or chisel tip. Better penetration, looks like you didn't lose any blades cutting through ribs either.

Really cool, quality at a great price. What were those broadheads?

He was more quartering. That was the exit. Entered up a lot more.

Bought them at Walmart. Carbon express torrid 1.5 inch cut. All blades survived and still sharp and useable. Just needs to be washed. Haha. 15.00 for three of them.

The fixed blade leading the broadness is supers harp too and is what sold me. It gives it the power penetration of a fixed broadness but combines the devastation and wider cut of a mechanicle.

It split the rib bone going in and coming out and did not slide between them. Only issue is the tip is slightly bent. Picture below. My sharp enter can fix that. The blade itself is not bent, only the tip. The small three blades are still fully operational and sharp with no Knicks.

I also added a picture of what it looks like wrapped up while shooting. Nice and tight and it flys like a field tip. Man these guys need to hire me as a spokes person. LoL can you tell I am sold?
