I mean, I've seen some boars out on the lease but this guy is freakish looking. Looks like he sat on a basketball and it stuck.

Good grief. I would have no problem taking a Texas heart shot on that pig.

We live in Spicewood (our place backs up to the Reimer's Ranch Preserve) and we have some seriously large hogs back there.

I am amazed at how quickly Feral Hogs have spread across Central Texas (the entire State actually). I grew up in Austin and hunted literally all of Central Texas. I can remember.... until the early 80's there were pretty much NO feral hogs in the Hill Country except for a small population around Volente on the Lake.

Now they are everywhere, even areas that were void of Deer (Elgin, Manor, Taylor, Jonah), now have hogs.

Of course, you are West of Austin, but even those game rich areas starting at the 'Y' at Oak Hill (Dripping Springs, Henly, Spicewood, Bee Cave) never had hogs.

Much different now, I am sure.

Stay after them!

Flint.

My first pig was 460 lbs and his scrotum was slightly larger than a soccer ball. Let me see if I can find that comparison picture that I took.....
