Looking for a hog hunt with Lodging - 01/15/15 04:49 PM

Me and 3 of my Buddies are looking for a place to hog hunt with lodging. I have found some on the internet but some are already booked for 2015. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Have any area of Texas in mind?
If NE Texas- try Hunters Creek just outside of Mount Vernon. Bob will treat you great, but do not expect the RITZ. Just good homecooked food, interesting discussions, and a place to lay your head.

Check out 4 Pines Ranch in Mexia. Awesome place, we are going back this year. Matt Cousins does a great job for your party.

This is a really good question. I know a friend of a friend who has a ranch south of San Antonio, but if you're coming from somewhere north that may be farther than you want to travel.

In any event, check out http://kraftranches.com/HuntingPkgsLS.html

Busy B Ranch outside of Jefferson. www.busybranch.com They have a lodge that sleeps 20-25 and they have cabins that will sleep up to 6. It is archery only for the hogs though.

These guys with take good care of you, and put you on some hogs. Close to the Metroplex, just outside of Corsicana.

I recommend HUNTER CEEEK RANCH As well. This place is AWESOME. Headed back there in a few weeks for my 4th trip down down there! I've hunt ted hogs for about 14yrs in Texas and Oklahoma and this place is right at the top!

$275/day gets you 2 hogs (1 over 100lbs. And 1 under) plus 3 meals and lodging! Tons of hogs too!! Hard to beat this price!!

Check em out!! Tell Bob I said hello!!

Just hunted the wild turkey ranch north of stephinville this last week. Great place, plenty of pigs. Lodge even has a pool table. Clint doesnt have pig hunting on his website but does offer pig hunts at a good price. You can find them on facebook to. Had pigs come out during the day. Feeders had lights on them to and I got a bigger pig after dark. Even with that think Im picking up a light for the gun next trip. Great place and Ill be back next time I get down that way.

Another recommendation for Bob at Hunter's creek. Went last year, and booked another hunt for this year. Clean accomidations, good food, and Bob really wants to put you on the hogs. He and his guys are really there to help you have a good time.
