First year hunting and the deer have eluded my son. Went this past weekend to take anything. Hogs have been coming into the feeder lately so I told him whatever shows up first, take it down. Well about three minutes before last shooting light we heard something coming fast. It was some of the pigs we have seen on camera. 10 piglets 1 boar and 2 sals. I told him if hogs come in give em a head shot. We'll after first hearing his heart jumping out of his chest in excitement when they first came in he finally composed himself after 3 minutes and knocked down a sal with a head shot. After she dropped immediately I took a few shots with the pistol as the others ran off but no luck for me. After the dust settled and we got out of the blind he said I'm so happy I'm cryin. well must say I had a few tears of the great moment we just experienced.
