First hog with my recurve

Treestand about 12 ft up , hit him far back rt side ribs and muzzy was sticking out just behind left shoulder when he hit the briars! Trailed him right at dark! Gonna go out in the morning! To get my damn arrow and broadhead back! This is all I got for now

Nope went out after work! Yesterday to many new leaves on the ground
Sucks!!!amazing how you can drill a bullseye over and over! Then add a hog and miss that far back!

I salute you for using a recurve!!!
Have a buddy who only uses recurves along with his 70YO Dad!!

With the current state of the art in compounds, anybody can hit with one of those.
You still have to be a hunter to get a shot but they are almost point and click these days.

Nice. Ive been going traditional all season. Been close to sticking 3 different bucks but just couldn't quiet get a shot. It will happen.
