Dogs on Point - 12/19/15 04:37 PM

Just thought you would enjoy a picture of my little pointing machine being honored by a sage old dog.

Is that a backing dog dummy? Kinda looks like it.

Re: Dogs on Point - 12/20/15 01:13 PM

I have called the backing dog worse than a dummy. No, lousy work with an I phone

Hope you don't mind a recent one we had.....

The Setter in the foreground is a pup from National Champion Shadow Oak Bo, his name is Rocky.
The white Pointer is Teddy, can't remember his credentials and the black and white Pointer is Jazz.
This was near Midland last weekend.

I'm gonna rent me a guide soon. I gotta get in on this. I need a ATV though. Knees and back won't handle much shoe leather anymore.

Bobcat, great picture and great looking dogs. I believe you have the same problem I have. We need to start breeding dogs with longer necks. Can't hang all the stuff on a short necked dog.

No. No nothing. I really don't know the first thing about any of that stuff.

I very much like rolling old school.

I really don't know jack about dog training myself but I've found if I don't use the ecollar, as the dog gets really worked up and birdy, I'll have some control issues. If I put it on her, I never have to use it. She knows its there and you can't make her misbehave.

So far that's not been an issue. Maybe because woodcock hold tight and don't congregate in numbers.

Great pictures guys!
