Just got back from hunting prairie grouse in Northen Sodak. We drove up thru Preso. Population is back up--saw lots of birds.

Going 10/17. Weather should be perfect.

Shoot at them and then tell me they act any different.

If you go west of the river and hunt pheasants on grasslands or pastureland with tall grass you will find pheasants that aren't released and they will hold for dogs. You won't see as many pheasants as east of the river where shooters walk and block cropland but birds will hold for dogs and you should have a good chance at hitting a limit.

Are you going to Gregory? Who are you hunting with? We will be hunting with Shattuck from the 19th through 21st.

How's the hunting fellas? Leaving next Wednesday with my two teenage boys to meet our group.

We just returned from Gregory. Hunted Monday-Wednesday this week. First time for my two sons, and we made reservations for next year before we left. We all brought home limits, but had to do a lot more shooting than we planned to! An absolute ball!

White Lake was awesome. Our group of 10 shot limits all three days in less than 4 hours.

10 man limit ., 1 hour. Off to hot tub!

Got my reservations for next year already.

Had a big group (8) join us yesterday. Took 2hours to limit. I love SoDak!

Are you guys that are getting limits hunting public or private? Are you just walking fields with big groups of hunters?

Private. Same group ranging from OK, NC, MT and WY. Been meeting there for years.
