Duck Stamps

Duck Stamps - 12/07/23 05:04 PM

Anyone keep their Federal, State (when they were actually a stamp), or other country stamps you’ve purchased when you hunted?

I need to dig all mine out and have them framed. Thought it would be cool for my son one day. Here were a few I found in my blind bag when I was cleaning it out last night.

I had them all saved beginning with my 1st season but unfortunately misplaced them when I moved a couple years ago.

These are mine, my dads and then my grandfathers license from 1969. Some stamps are early 70’s and some Texas State Duck stamps also in there.

Re: Duck Stamps - 12/15/23 06:52 PM

I have every one (except one) since they began putting them on the decal paper, all still on the paper, not applied to my license. And before anyone starts playing internet game warden, I was checked one time by a federal GW, didn't have it on my license but had it signed and with me. He told me as long as I had it and it was signed, I was good. BUT... the one I don't have... the GW at Tawokoni one morning checked us and didn't even let me tell that story... ripped it off and put it on my license.

Ol Steve. Early teal season one hunt, I saw him watch me shoot BWT one morning in his truck, sure did make me nervous... After I shot a few, here he comes driving his tuck down the shore to check me out. I'm looking at my pile of ducks and hoping to hell none are spoonies.. roflmao
