Silosock Windsock decoy question - 03/09/18 07:04 PM

You guys that run a chitload of windsocks, do yours have the ability to basically do a complete circle around the stake if the wind shifts? I ask bc I recently bought some budget friendly ones that appear well made and durable(SkyFly). Set them out in the yard this morning, probab 5-10mph winds with maybe a few higher gusts. They move awesome, some of them a little erratically with a strong gust. Is that okay? I just want to make sure that's not an issue before investing a few more bucks in them. How long are the stakes you guys use? Thanks alot! Thomas

All mine rotate 360 degrees for wind. Heavy wind flashing isn't good (20+) but somedays ya just have to deal with it. Back bones are important on no wind days bc socks dangling look like poo
