Hwy 82 Between Lindsay and Muenster Geese!

I saw about 200 geese in a wheat field early this morning. All different kinds.

Saw 2000 snows last weekend 75 and exit 47 going down in wheat. Also birds off Preston Gunter area

See geese along that stretch of highway most years at Christmas or during a March hog hunt.

Saw some Canada’s NW corner 75 and Chase Oaks Dr.

I spotted 2 water turkeys flying over 78 near mallard park Saturday at approximately 2:15

They have been coming to that are for years, just good luck on getting any permission to hunt around that area without already knowing someone. Trust me, was married to a Muenster girl for years and only got to hunt with her brother. lol

I know some of those landowners and you're right, outsiders have a hard time getting in.

I know several too.... and I have a pretty good in.

That field already has some boys hunting it. There’s a blind on the east side of the field too. Same group of guys from a local Lindsey business has access to most of the fields in that area. Another guy from Muenster has most of the Muenster area locked down too. Hard areas to get access without knowing the owner or the person farming and there aren’t enough birds to run traffic cause those geese don’t fly more than 1500 yards to roost, loaf and feed and the guy with the water isn’t gonna let anyone hunt. Everything else is leased up in those areas. Best chances of getting into birds and permission is wichita falls and west or across the red
