DUCK GUIDE ADVICE PLEASE - 01/18/18 02:26 PM

Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone has any guides that they swear by in North Texas. I'm taking my brother and dad who just recently got interested. Price is not too much of a problem, mainly just looking for quality guys who wont ruin experience for family. I've booked with friends on just random pages on facebook and been burned bad. Would love any advice.
A lodge would be great as well if they have one thanks!

Seems a lot of folks come and go. Silvercreek has been around for some time out west and his hunters love him. I would highly doubt he has an opening this year.
Redleg out east has been at it for some time as well. No matter who you choose i doubt you will find an opening this late in the year.

Silvercreek - you wont be disappointed. Just dont touch the dog. Not DWE, Beav is misleading a newcomer.

Blake E on this site does a great job. Look at outfitters forum. His business is called Texas Duck N Dove. Hunts between Nocona and Bowie.

Second Texas Duck n' Dove with Blake. I've been with him twice this year, first time we had a seven man limit. Went with him yesterday and it was tough shooting over a frozen over pond but we managed to get 16 or 17, and he broke ice all the way out to get to some of the further out birds. Good guy and fair pricing. I'm going with him again Sunday.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm all booked up this year. Hope to get on some late season geese. If I do I will post after duck season. I always hear great things about Jeff at Silvercreek. Someone needs to grab those spots.

depends on who's reading it...some will say he is an arsehole, but if he took a bite that person had it coming every time.

Sadly after 7000 ducks and one goose ole Spade wore out. The legand only goes out once a week and only on a small group frown
Sook likes people. She is a Chesapeake that identifies as a Lab in the friendly category only.
