3 hunts in 4 days

Opening weekend is always a great time. Friday evening there were a good amount of birds but nothing like we were seeing the previous week. We also had a great time shooting the bull and eating some good food after the hunt. The bad news is that my dog Kimber suffered a decent gash in her front leg near her arm pit that needed a couple staples but it hasn't slowed her down a bit.

Today the field was pretty slow so we packed up and tried a tank around 6 pm and it was the right decision birds piled in pretty heavy till sunset.

Hoping the cool front brings new birds and giving the fields some rest helps out.

Teal are starting to pile up and I'm looking forward to teal in the morning and dove in the evening next Saturday.
