Anyone getting out there these last few weeks of the north zone, this warm spell seems to be keeping a lot of the same birds around
I'm hunting the last weekend in Brazoria County, hopefully the weather will be much more wintery up north.....

Yes, we made a quick trip this morning. Ducks were heavy at first light. Lots of large groups circling and several came in. There were several singles and a lot of 2-3 ducks per group circling, and they would cup, but then they would hold up flare out. We ended up with 7, and missed quite a few more.

this morning I had a group ducks work my spread and then flared for no reason...took me a while to figure it out but then it dawned on me, they didnt have any bags with them, they were local birds that had set up shop somewhere close by.
