The birds cooperated, the weather was great, and the group of hunters we beat to the hole were respectful and ethical enough to go to another spot instead of set up 80 yards away from us and pepper us all morning. Managed a 3 man with mallards, a couple gaddies, and a couple woodies.

This was a great weekend. Saturday I got 2 mergansers, 1 mallard, 1 teal and 2 nice pintail. Today I got 2 pintail, 2 mallards and 2 wegion. The pintails were everywhere. We watched several groups come in and just enjoyed the show.

Wow - MUCH better than my Sunday morning. Never fired a shot! Front pushed out all the GWT we had on my spot and brought in a few big ducks, but the few I saw were either high flyers or wouldn't decoy. Zero wind didn't help, either.
