Opening day!

Well I wasn't planning on hunting today. I've been pretty focused thinking about next weekend I forgot I've got a couple ponds just on the other side of the line on the HPMMU. I went in blind and of course picked the wrong spot. Probably could have got my limit on another pond I scouted out as I was leaving but I left them alone.

Usually this place doesn't start holding ducks till mid December. Next weekend is looking like it's going to be s barrel burner at another spot.

I was pretty surprised to see black bellied whistling ducks. Also had a couple gaddies come in.

My pup was wondering what the heck kinda duck is this...haha
