Hoping for a better season than last year, one of the worst in recent history.

saw that- I bought a dozen fully flocked Goose floaters to use in my spred this year- show them something different- Harvested 20% or so more birds last year w 25% less hunts

Water (plentiful) and Food make the difference- you may only see 20-30 ducks all day or less- can still limit a few guns if efficient

This is the correct answer. That being said, I hope his crystal ball generalities come to fruition. I'd much rather hunt in 30 degree weather than 70. I killed 100 times more mosquitos than ducks last year. I long for a cold opener. I dream big.

I bet it will be about mid 70s for our opener and we will hit limits quick like we usually do.

If it's colder than last year, that's not saying much but I do hope it is colder.

I'm pretty excited this winter I was invited by a buddy to go hunt in Stuttgart, Arkansas where he is from, it will be my first duck hunting adventure outside of Texas.

yes they will, but as whimpy as a front as they seem, the small little wind shifts in September make a lot of difference
