Rain forecast for opener tomorrow

Looks like 60% chance of rain tomorrow for dove hunting. I'll be in Wichita Falls. I've dove hunted in the rain before and still done good. Just don't like all my gear getting wet.

Anybody else have rain in the forecast for your hunt tomorrow?

Looks like rain for most of central Texas on Friday through to the weekend. Im hoping that it'll hold off because like the OP, I hate getting my gear wet. The only time that I don't care is when Im duck hunting, otherwise my guns are too nice to be getting wet like that. I really should buy a hydrodipped or cerakoted shotgun for foul wether days on dove and upland game.

Looks like the weekend will be clear for us in Val Verde. However, I'm not afraid of a little drizzle as long as it doesn't storm. I've had good luck on drizzly overcast days before. Dove seem to fly low and I just walk hunt all day. Bust some, shoot a few, and the rest don't fly far then go bust them again. Repeat.

We are having some crazy weather

I won an old stevens/savage 20guage on a $12.50 hand of poker. I call it my rainy day gun.

sure enough. Ill take it over the 100 degree dog days though.

Forecast in my hunting area has been changed from afternoon thunderstorms to partly cloudy.

Don't mind hunting in the rain, but wet conditions preventing us from working or accessing fields is getting old!

20% tomorrow and 40% for Friday, nothing to worry about.

0.23" Thursday.
0.14" Friday.

I'll be up around Breckenridge Sat, Sun, & Mon morning.
Hunting birds in the AM & PM and pigs and varmits half the night.
Rain or not. Hope my spine doesn't give out cuz my heart is
still in the game.
