My favorite dove trees from last year are under 2 feet of water now! Hopefully it will dry up.

I can't wait! This is the first year I have my own bird dog and I'm ready to see him work.

As soon as your dog grabs that first bird you celebrate like a kid on the 4th of july. The dog will know your happy as hell, the dog will want to do it over and over again. I got to experience that last yr w my pup. Totally awesome all the work paid off

Zeiger, There's nothing like watching a new dog do a first game retrieve. Did you train him yourself?

This will be my lab's second year hunting as well. She did great during training but I had lots of anxiety last year not knowing how she'd react to the hunting. Turned out great and she did amazing. It was so rewarding to watch her work. Can't wait to see her in action this year. I can tell she's ready because every time I pick up the shotgun, she perks up

I had an M1 I feel the same way about Bobby.

I will be looking for one without a bent barrel. Seems all the ones that I have are bent.

bought a new 28 ga, getting cocky I guess, I bet my first outing will be with my SBEII in hand so I can at least shoot enough for a meal. then I can break out the pop gun.....

buzz, you need to leave the old faithful behind and be true to the new girl, at lest for a little while. When I got my new Browing 725, I sold my Benelli SportII because I knew if I missed a couple, I'd go right back to the old one. Gotta give it a fair chance.

I just recently bought a Beretta A300. Can't wait to draw first blood.

You will enjoy it. I've got one. Light and cycles everything. Trying to convince the wife to let me add an A400 but she demands equal funds for her hobbies hehe
