I like it. I'll take it.

But for the North Zone I wish they would run some of those extra days on the end in January. Running them along with the opening week or two of Deer season makes is worthless on most Deer leases. On public where Deer and Dove hunting is shared it is going to piss off some Deer hunters. I bet we see a lot off WMAs and APH properties close Dove hunting on those areas much earlier than the state season because of it.

They also need to start the entire state on September 1.

Sniper John i agree with this 100%, always seems to have more dove later in the season for us!

I was laid up most of last season, but I'm looking forward to next.

I'm happy for the longer seasons because I sense after the bust of this year I'm going to be pretty made at the birds next year.

That is what needed to happen. YES. I don't even hunt in the split season, its always raining or the north wind is blowing 80 mph!!! But that just me, hunting here in the Central.

Oh yeah lots more time with the dogs!!!!

x50. At least make it go past Jan 1. I left them a comment a few weeks about it. No one hunts them in Nov. and they are gone where I am anyway until late Dec.

Agree with all those that would prefer the extra days be added after deer season.

liking the fact the season will go later into Nov...
where we shoot doves, fields and tanks, doesn't really effect deer hunting...
and this year was the first we really had good dove shooting after Christmas... and that's only because of late planted sesame...
that crop is gonna be way down this fall, so I doubt we'll see the numbers like this past winter season, which was the only one here that was decent...
I'd like to be able to target doves from Labor day thru mid Nov...
and a shorter winter, because usually after x-mas they're spotty here west of SA...
Valley is diff, tho...
winter can be great down there...

I'd like to see the season start earlier, catch the birds off guard.
