We had a pretty decent year this past season it wasn't the best but for sure was not the worst one we have had on the Katy Prairie!

We had a lot of fun this year, it was long and very stressful at times! Learned lots of new things this year just like every other year. I grew up here on this prairie hunting waterfowl my entire life. I got to take two old timers out this year who use to run the Katy Prairie and one is in a picture above. Joe Mandola, it was great getting to see him back out on the prairie hunting ducks. Gosh he can still get so excited! The changes on this prairie are sad to watch, but there is still lots of good DUCK hunting left! Now the count down to the 2016-2017 season!
