How did your hunt end up? Looked like you had a nice set up.

Ended up with 4 ducks. Saw 100 before legal.
Was still a good ending of the season.

The 30 acre pond behind the budweiser plant along I-35 in Denton had 700 to 900 ducks on it by 5:45 pm tonite.

According to google acreage calculator its 18 acres, but that was in 2014 when it was dry. I added the new boundaries and its close to 22 acres now and was 29 two months ago.

This place usually gives you a very good indication when the ducks are in the Denton area. Untill yesterday there was zero. Today it was loaded. Should be an excellent February.

Its 22 ares now. These google acerage were taken during the drought in february of 2015 (googles latest update)
After the may rain it went to 29 acres.
Went there tonite and counted 125 ducks only. They heading back to kansas, and so am i tomorrow

I pinned those coordinates earlier. The map is current. I work a mile from it, and drive by it EVERYDAY! Not being a hater, just trying to help you reel in that eye on acredge.

Hopefully u can tell the difference in ducks and decoys. Homeboy that's been hunting it has left his spread floating for quite some time. He parks next to the lean-to up by the gate. We honk at him when we go on lunch break.

I would hope you have gathered them since season is over. I'm not being a hater, but I own 14 acres of dry land, and know that pond I drive by every day, couldn't cover my place.

Looks to be a great every 3 week hole. Local birds frequent it, hence the 60 geese there every September! Once shot into, you're waiting on a front

Also, 700-900 ducks is CRAZY!! Since the best flights of ducks is still to come, I will take a photo everyday and refresh this thread. If those are your decoys, and/or your white pickup parked next to the lean-to. I will pull into the gate and BS for a while
