Dave Speer makes a spectacular carved decoy. Maybe he will get in here and post a pic.

Yep seen his work, been over on working decoy quite a bit too. Carved a foamer teal spread and hunted over it for the first time last year, was a lot of fun. Need an airbrush and more time with blanks before they are up to what I like though

300 for a real nice decoy like that is a pretty mainstream price.
